# 15 - Pork Molé Sausage

Pork Mole Sausage
Salt-Peter's deepest apologies are in order, dear carnivorous readers.  It has been far too long since a new coil of protein graced these digital pages, and such dereliction of stuffing duty is inexcusable.  Why?  It is painful to admit, but the truth must come out: your faithful meat man has been experimenting as a vegan...

# 14 - Heart & Soul Sausage

When he's not juggling the duties of being a full-time gigolo and part-time  rodeo clown, apprentice sausage-maker Krawch enjoys chasing tail.  Turkey tail, that is.

# 13 - Salt-Peter Shawarma Sausage

The other day we were chatting with Silvio (yes, the S.P. Sausage Laboratory is an equal opportunity workplace, and we take everyone's opinion into account), and we discovered that both Silvio and S.P. have a profound love for shawarmas, and all manner of kabobs (sis, kofta, doner, etc).

#12 - Sriracha Sausage - A Spicy New Year

Happy New Year!

On this New Year's Eve, we over here at the S.P. Sausage Laboratory were struck by the sheer cockiness of Sriracha chili paste, as we mixed it into our severely over-spiced Bloody-Marys.  The flavor just came on so strong, dancing down our taste buds and nipping at our appetites; we loved it.  When our palates came to the next afternoon, in between the bitter troughs of anticlimax and soured scotch, that Sriracha flavor remained.

#11 - Special Thanksgiving Special!

Thanksgiving has come and gone; particularly perspicacious readers surely expect this to be a post about venison sausage.  It is not, and I can explain.

I went to see a man about a deer.  It turned out that he only dealt in horses.  The tale is long and convoluted, and is best expressed in verse.  You may recognize the meter:

Twas the eve of Thanksgiving, and all through the house
No game could be found, deer, capon or grouse.
In stalls at the market, the butchers demurred,
“Whyfore seek ye Venison, rather than bird?

#8, #9, & #10 - The Birthday Bangers

True love... obviously.

Fellow force-meat aficionados,

Allow me to apologize. I have been most remiss. S.P. celebrated a very special birthday this fall, and it celebrated in classic S.P. fashion: with free-flowing libations, unhinged hips and pounds upon pounds of everyone's favorite intestine-filling treat. Notable guests included former United Nations Honcho Boutros Boutros Ghali (the Boutros so nice, they named him twice), Food Network star and hair bleach industry spokesman Guy Fieri, and hopelessly corrupt FIFA Chief J. Sepp Blatter.

#7 - Prosciutto & Fig Sausage - A Patriotic Title Fight

Wherever they end up, Figs always cause trouble.  Delicious, scrumptious, and delectably seedy, these trouble-making morsels seem to love being in the thick of it (sausage, that is) and S.P.'s most recent affair was no exception.

#5 & #6 - Super Bowl Sausages - RESULTS

Well, you know what they say: football is a game of inches.  There were at least 120 inches of sausage on the line in the most recent football game of note.  The Bolognese Bangers quickly took the lead in the first quarter,

#5 & #6 - Super Bowl Sausages

Super Bowl Sunday this year saw an epic battle between two warring cultures.  A team of concussive heavy-hitters based in simple principles took on a group of deft skill-practitioners exhibiting subtle complexities.

#4 - Thanskgiving Tipsy Turkey Cranberry Sausage

This post is severely late for Thanksgiving, but just in time for Christmas, so make sausages of it as you will.

The sausage.  Chilling outside with some white wine.

Sausage in the News: More People Prefer Sausage-Making to Congress

Ok, So I don't quite have the statistics to back up that bombastic headline, but the NYTimes recently ran a weekend story with far too many silly but satisfying comparisons between legislative sausage-makers and the real artisans.

RESULTS: Chinese BBQ Sausage Assaults the MLS... & Other Sausagecapades

First off, my apologies for the long delay in finishing this Chinese BBQ Sausage post.  In honor of the MLS Finals last Sunday, and in the spirit of the WikiLeaks Cablestravaganza (which, for the record, I am very against), here are the secrets of the Chinese Sausages, Exposed!
At this point the sausages are clearly just getting warmed up, showing a little color in their complexions.

#3 - Chinese-Style BBQ Pork Sausage

My apologies for the  long delay in posting the next sausage.  In all seriousness, it being a Chinese-style sausage, it was held in quarantine leaving China, and then again stateside, and it has only just now reached us.

Drunken Turkey-Fig-Goat Cheese Sausage - EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS

THE LEWDNESS CONTINUES:
First off, my apologies for the long delay in posting the results of the Drunken Turkey-Fig Sausage.  There were, however, some very legitimate reasons for the delay.  I can't say too much without risking further damages,

#2 - Drunken Turkey-Fig-Goat Cheese Sausage with Chives

SHOCKING LEWDNESS!
That's pretty much sums up S.P.'s second experimental sausage installment, featuring a scandalously unique drunken turkey-fig sausage.  After a brief argument with some some goat cheese over port wine, this particular Turkey was seen frolicking with some figs before hiding behind a bush of chives.  The police round-up is seen below, minus the alleged offender.  (The Turkey has some excellent lawyers, and S.P. has a small budget...)

Note the pool of delicious spiked sausage juice.  These sausage stars know how to party

#1 - Bourbon-Peppercorn Bacon Sausage

This isn't my first time around the sausage mill, but I am still an apprentice to the formidable trade of sausage-making.  I have made other experimental sausages in the past, some of which may yet grace these pages (Chicken Tikka MaSausage, anyone?)
